| Description | Sea kayaking is a great way to experience the beauty and serenity of the Northern California coast. Trips focus on kayaking skills and exploring the wildlife and scenery of Tomales, Half Moon and Monterey Bays. The adventure starts with an introduction to water safety and kayaking basics after which the group will head out on a fun paddle. Participants may see seals, sea otters, whales and many bird species. Trips are custom designed, full-service programs that can include paddling to a secluded beach for a picnic or BBQ, going on special whale or birdwatching trips, or kayaking by moonlight. | | Locations | Tomales Bay (Point Reyes Nat. Seashore), Half Moon Bay, Pescadero Marsh, Davenport (open ocean), Monterey Bay and Elkhorn Slough | | Fitness Level | Average physical condition.
